Target Enterprise Services (TES) is a globally integrated organisation focused on delivering operational excellence and enterprise transformation through service operations, procurement, finance, product, analytics, automation, and AI. Operating through a highly collaborative, cross-functional model, TES partners across the enterprise to simplify processes, improve experiences, reduce friction, create scalable capabilities and unlock business value for Guests, team members, vendors, and business partners.

Product Teams at TES are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through technology, data science and analytic products that are easy to use, easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all products, technology and design work.

As a Principal Product Manager, you will shape the strategic vision and own the roadmap for a complex product domain. You will partner with Product, Technology, Data, Design, and Operations teams to establish short- and long-term goals, define quarterly Objectives and Key Results, prioritise investments, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

The Principal Product Manager based in India is a strategic senior individual contributor who serves as a force multiplier across product strategy, platform evolution, and AI transformation within Target’s Service Centre product ecosystem. This role provides strategic product leadership across business and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions. The Principal Product Manager will shape the long-term evolution of Digital Servicing, AI-enabled experiences, operational platforms, and enterprise insight capabilities serving Guests, team members, partners, and business functions. The role partners closely with the Director of Product Management to transform core servicing capabilities and accelerate the responsible adoption of AI, automation, and intelligent experiences.

Success in this role is demonstrated through the ability to shape the long-term evolution of Digital Servicing, elevate product management maturity, influence enterprise priorities without direct authority, and deliver measurable improvements in Guest experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes. The Principal Product Manager is a strategic thought leader, trusted partner, mentor, and force multiplier who accelerates product excellence across the TES portfolio.

Strategic Product Leadership

• Establish a clear multi-year vision and roadmap for Digital Servicing, AI-powered experiences, and servicing platforms.
• Influence product investment decisions to align with TES and enterprise priorities.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable product opportunities with measurable outcomes.

Business and Product Outcomes

• Improve servicing outcomes across Guest experience, team member productivity, operational efficiency, adoption, automation, and cost to serve.
• Deliver measurable progress against product OKRs and enterprise priorities.
• Ensure product investments generate measurable business value rather than technology outputs alone.

Product Maturity and Capability Building

• Elevate product management practices across discovery, experimentation, prioritisation, roadmap development, measurement, and storytelling.
• Coach and mentor product practitioners, strengthening customer-centric problem-solving and outcome-based decision-making.
• Establish consistent product discipline and effective product-management practices across TES teams.

Enterprise Influence

• Serve as a trusted adviser to Product, Technology, Data, Design, Operations, and business leaders.
• Strengthen alignment between business strategy and product execution.
• Reduce decision-making friction and accelerate execution across organisational and functional boundaries

About you:

· Four-year degree or equivalent experience.

· 10+ years of product management or equivalent domain experience, preferably within retail, consumer servicing, enterprise platforms, or AI-enabled products.

· Demonstrated experience defining strategy and roadmaps for complex, enterprise-scale products or platforms.

· Deep expertise in product discovery, experimentation, prioritisation, outcome-based roadmaps, and product measurement.

· Experience leading product-driven transformation across Technology, Data, Design, Operations, and business teams.

· Strong understanding of digital servicing, automation, AI-enabled experiences, data flows, and platform capabilities.

· Proven ability to influence senior leaders and align stakeholders without direct authority.

· Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor product practitioners and elevate product-management maturity.

· Strong strategic thinking, communication, storytelling, and data-driven decision-making skills.

· Expertise in agile product-development practices.
