Our client is a fast-growing enterprise data and AI consultancy that helps System Integrators unlock the full value of Syndigo's PIM/MDM ecosystem, delivering master data and product information management programs for global enterprises. With teams spanning India and the US and over a decade of hands-on data consulting experience, they combine deep domain expertise with a hands-on, entrepreneurial culture.
About the Role :
We're looking for a commercially sharp, entrepreneurial Project Manager to own client engagements end to end, not just delivery mechanics, but the financial health and long-term trajectory of the account. You'll be the person clients trust at both the operational and executive level, comfortable leading through ambiguity and complexity across distributed, multi-country teams (onsite, nearshore, offshore). This is an individual contributor role : you won't carry direct reports, but you'll lead and coach delivery teams day to day and be expected to grow into the kind of person other people follow.
Key Responsibilities :
Delivery & Commercial Ownership :
- Own end-to-end delivery of complex programs : planning, execution, tracking, RAID/risk management, and closure
- Track revenue, cost, and margin throughout the engagement; manage timesheets, invoicing, and resource utilization
- Apply Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) suited to the engagement
- Provide regular delivery and financial reporting to leadership and clients
Client Relationships & Account Health :
- Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders at both operational and executive levels
- Run governance meetings and QBRs; monitor account health across delivery, relationship, commercial, and strategic dimensions
- Track client satisfaction and proactively resolve concerns before they escalate
- Build advocacy through references, case studies, and testimonials where the engagement earns it
Account Growth :
- Identify opportunities to expand engagements, including SoW extensions and evolving arrangements from T&M to Fixed Price to Managed Services
- Feed delivery insight, estimates, and solution input into new proposals, working alongside Sales and practice leaders
Team Leadership & Practice Building :
- Lead and coach cross-functional delivery teams (business analysts, implementation consultants, architects) without formal people-management ownership
- Contribute to reusable delivery assets, templates, and accelerators, and help raise delivery standards across the wider team
What We're Looking For :
- 6 - 12 years of overall experience, with at least 4+ years specifically in Project or Program Management
- Proven experience managing complex technology, data, or digital transformation programs, including direct client-facing delivery
- Hands-on experience with project estimation, financial forecasting, margin management, resource planning, and change control
- Experience leading distributed or multi-country delivery teams
- Strong commercial understanding across T&M, Fixed Price, and Managed Services / Outcome-based models
- Comfortable leading through ambiguity, with strong negotiation, influencing, and conflict-resolution skills
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification required; CSM, SAFe, or PMI-ACP is a plus
- Prior experience with Syndigo, PIM, MDM, or data programs is a strong plus, though not mandatory
- An MBA (Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute) is a good-to-have, not a requirement
