Must have knowledge and experience in designs, develops, and
maintains middleware integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems.
Responsibilities include mapping data, configuring adapters,
building integration flows, and troubleshooting communication failures across
different business applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Integration Design & Architecture: Collaborate with stakeholders to design scalable, efficient
integration scenarios.
- Development & Configuration: Build and configure interfaces utilizing standard protocols like
IDoc, SOAP, REST, OData, RFC, and JDBC. Develop message mappings
(Graphical, Java, XSLT) and routing rules.
- Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, support System Integration Testing (SIT),
and assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- System Monitoring & Support: Monitor interface pipelines, perform root-cause analysis, and
troubleshoot errors.
- Migration & Upgrades: Participate in upgrading legacy PI/PO landscapes to modern
solutions like SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) or the SAP
Integration Suite.
- Certifications: SAP Certifications in SAP Process
Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) are a strong plus
- Deep understanding of XML, XSD, WSDL, and web
services. Familiarity with Java and ABAP is highly advantageous.
