Senior Engineer - C++, Linux

Location - Bangalore
Experience
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in embedded software
development using C/C++ and Linux/RTOS.
Role Overview - Develop embedded optical line-system software in a Linux environment across Layer 0 to Layer 3 network
domains. Contribute throughout the product lifecycle, from concept and implementation through automated testing,
continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
Required Technical Skills-
- Strong C/C++ programming skills for embedded software development.
- Hands-on experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems, including Linux and RTOS.
- Knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking protocols, TCP/IP, and Ethernet.
- Experience with NETCONF/YANG and GPON/PON or routing architectures.
Good-to-Have
- Experience with optical switches.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop embedded optical line-system software in a Linux environment spanning Layer 0 to Layer 3 network
layers.
- Work on distributed architectures, network automation, and test automation using Python, C/C++, and
frameworks such as Robot Framework.
- Participate across the product lifecycle, from product concept to deployment.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and unit-level and system-level automated testing
