Role: Customer Development Executive

Band: L3

Department: Customer Development

Reporting to: CD Lead India

Location: Ahmedabad

Work Mode: Hybrid/Onsite

3. Role Mission:

The mission of the L3 Customer Development Executive is to drive revenue growth through new customer acquisitions and solution framework design. The role focuses on nurturing leads from the discovery phase through to contract closure, specifically managing standard-complexity deals. This specialist is responsible for identifying collaboration opportunities, and ensuring that solutions align with client strategic objectives.

4. Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through self-initiated outbound efforts, networking, and industry research.

- Qualify inbound leads and proactively move prospects through the sales funnel to onboarding.

- Develop tailored sales pitches and high-quality proposals (GMP/C4M) that address specific client requirements.

- Maintain meticulous CRM hygiene, tracking all pipeline metrics and reporting progress to senior management.

- Liaise with legal and finance teams to ensure smooth contract empanelment and approval of the contract.

- Drive new logo acquisition across international and Indian markets, and lead participation in RFP processes to secure new business opportunities.

5. Must-Have Skills:

- Consultative Sales & Discovery: Proficiency in uncovering latent client needs using the BANT framework (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline).

- Business Development & Solution Selling: Prior experience in a Business Development, Solutions Consulting, or Solution Selling role, with the ability to align client problem statements with relevant solutions.

- Sourcing: Ability to independently identify, source, and engage relevant prospects within the defined ICP, leveraging professional networks, market intelligence, and targeted outreach to build a strong pipeline.

- Negotiation: Ability to navigate complex, multi-threaded negotiations and influence outcomes at the C-suite level for high-value contracts.

- Solution Design & Presentation: Skill in aligning Tatvics Cloud, Analytics, and Agentic AI offerings to create coherent strategic solutions.

- Interpersonal Communication: Strong ability to manage stakeholders and hold persuasive conversations with decision-makers.

- Technical Literacy: Foundational knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) product suites.

- ICP Network & Market Exposure: Established network within the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP), along with prior exposure to the US market and its business environment.

6. Good-to-Have Skills:

- Certifications in Google Cloud Platform (Associate or Professional level), GA4 or Gen-AI.

7. Not-a-Fit Criteria:

- Unable to work independently or take end-to-end ownership of standard-complexity sales cycles.

- History of inconsistent quality in proposal drafting or failure to follow brand and naming conventions.

- Tendency to "go silent" or delay communication when encountering blockers in lead conversion.

- Avoidance of direct stakeholder communication or discomfort in leading client-facing discovery calls.

- Pitch mode not a discovery mode - talking features or pricing before asking diagnostic questions.
