We are looking for looking for a Senior Sales Manager - Energy Infrastructure to drive the development of innovative solutions across the energy storage and renewable energy sectors.

As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving the commercial strategy, business development, and growth of energy infrastructure solutions, with a particular focus on Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), inverters, and hybrid energy solutions.

The role combines strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and leadership, working closely with customers, utilities, developers, technology partners, and internal engineering and R&D teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the commercial and strategic roadmap for energy infrastructure solutions in line with the company’s growth objectives.

  • Drive business development and sales activities for BESS, PCS, inverter, and hybrid energy solutions across the European market.

  • Identify new market opportunities, emerging technologies, customer needs, and competitive trends within the renewable energy and energy storage sectors.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with utilities, renewable energy developers, EPCs, system integrators, technology partners, and other key stakeholders.

  • Provide technical and commercial expertise throughout the sales cycle, from opportunity identification and feasibility assessment through to contract negotiation and project implementation.

  • Work closely with R&D, engineering, product management, and project teams to develop and optimize solutions according to customer and market requirements.

  • Support technical and commercial feasibility studies, business cases, proposals, and solution design for complex energy infrastructure projects.

  • Contribute to the development of product and solution strategies based on market feedback and customer requirements.

  • Ensure that proposed solutions comply with relevant technical standards, grid requirements, safety regulations, and sustainability objectives.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of engineers and energy specialists.

  • Manage sales forecasts, budgets, commercial performance, and key business development KPIs.

  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, conferences, and other relevant market forums.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Energy Systems, Power Electronics, or a related technical discipline.

  • 10+ years of professional experience within the power electronics, energy storage, renewable energy, or related energy infrastructure sectors.

  • Proven experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership, ideally within the BESS, PCS, inverter, or renewable energy industry.

  • Strong technical understanding of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Power Conversion Systems (PCS), converters/inverters, and grid integration.

  • Solid knowledge of power electronics, power systems, system performance, and energy management solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical concepts into compelling commercial solutions.

  • Proven track record in developing new business, managing strategic accounts, and successfully closing complex, high-value projects.

  • Experience working with utilities, developers, EPCs, system integrators, or technology providers is highly desirable.

  • Strong understanding of energy market dynamics, regulatory frameworks, grid codes, and industry standards.

  • Previous experience working for an inverter, converter, PCS, or power electronics manufacturer would be a strong advantage.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, project management, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong commercial and analytical capabilities, including experience with financial modelling, forecasting, and business case development.

  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are considered a plus.

  • Willingness to travel across Europe as required.
