Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is looking for a Production Scheduler to join the team in Hutchins TX!
Work Authorization: To be considered for the Taylor opportunities, candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
Your Responsibilities:
- Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation Translates orders into a sequential work schedule.
- Plans and schedules workflow for press and operation Confers with production and order entry staff to determine status of orders.
- Works closely with Sales/Client Care to meet customer delivery requirements.
- Expedites orders as agreed meet unforeseen conditions.
- Assesses schedule performance and advises the team on status and preventive/corrective actions required.
- Prepares reports as needed.
Your Shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Monday - Friday
You Must Have:
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Ability to work with multiple systems and create tools via excel or access
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
- Responsible for the planning and scheduling of materials through the production schedules
- May coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering
Requirements Within This Position:
- Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand
- Regularly required to remain in a stationary position
- Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials
- Frequently required to move inside the facility
- Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry)
We Would Also Prefer:
- 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
