Paralegal (6-Month Contract), Global Hedge Fund

Launch your buy-side career with a top-tier global hedge fund. This 6-month contract opportunity (which can be extended to a permanent position) is ideal for ambitious paralegals from leading law firms, financial-services / investment-management firms who are keen to gain first-hand experience within a fast-paced, high-performing Compliance team.

You will support a broad range of Hong Kong compliance activities, including:

·Regulatory filings, SFC licensing and external regulatory enquiries

·Compliance inductions, employee training and culture initiatives

·Compliance reporting, registers, attestations and record maintenance

·Personal-account dealing, outside-interest reporting and management metrics

·Drafting compliance documentation and coordinating with internal stakeholders

You will have:

·2-5 years of relevant paralegal, compliance, regulatory or legal-support experience gained within a law firm, financial-services / investment-management firm

·Bachelor’s degree in Law, Finance, Economics, with a strong academic record

·Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and sound judgment and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information

·Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
