Job Description

Providea broad range of reporting and data visualization which may include BI related reporting for an assigned business or function and may be involved in providing input/reporting support to other areas as assigned. The Business Intelligence Co-op/Intern will perform a variety of activities, which may include:

• Develop and understand business drivers, definitions, and metrics to interpret findings, take action, and provide meaningful business intelligence solution.

• Develop and maintain specialized reporting packages and dashboards utilizing data from various systems including localized data-marts on Azure Cloud as well as other sources utilizing D&A reporting tools (i.e. SQL, Tableau, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, ADLS, MS Power BI, Python, etc.).

• Manage the repository of all reporting assets including and not limited to developmentscripts and objects, documentation, etc.

• Adopt, implement, and effectively evolve report automation standards.

• Validate the quality and integrity of the data included in all reporting.

Job Requirements

• Currently enrolled in either a recognized undergraduate degree majoring in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Science, Statistics, Business, Data Analytics or related, with the intent of going back to school at the start of your work term.

• Strong statistical and analytical skills and interest are necessary.

• Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team environment.

• Experience withtelling a story through data visualization.

• Knowledge with one or more of: Python, SQL, Tableau, MS Power BI, PySpark, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Bitbucket.

• Technical knowledge or experience with Azure Cloud is an asset.

• Strongleadership qualitiesare assets,including demonstratinginitiative, establishing prioritiesand using strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
