Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, implement, and support mainframe applications.
- Develop and maintain COBOL programs and related batch processes.
- Work with IMS DB/DC, IMS databases, and DB2.
- Develop and support JCL and mainframe batch jobs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and batch processing issues.
- Support application implementation and production activities.
- Collaborate with business and technology partners to deliver technical solutions.
- Apply strong knowledge of mainframe engineering frameworks, platforms, tools, processes, and procedures.
- Working knowledge of Copilot technologies and Copilot -assisted development tools, with the ability to apply Copilot effectively in day-to-day development activities
Required Qualifications
- Expert knowledge and hands-on experience with mainframe technologies and tools, including:
- COBOL
- JCL
- IMS DB/DC
- IMS Databases
- DB2
- TSO
- Endevor
- CA-7
- SAS
- Netron
- ICETOOL
- Strong experience with both online and batch processing
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
