About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Principal Software Engineer to join a global engineering team delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions. In this role, you will take ownership of designing, developing, and maintaining complex software and platform solutions while ensuring they align with both business and technical requirements.

You will collaborate closely with engineering and architecture teams, solve complex technical challenges, and provide technical leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. This position also involves driving engineering standards, mentoring team members, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of software and platform solutions.

• Develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code while performing debugging, testing, and troubleshooting.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance across engineering teams.

• Collaborate with software engineers and architects to design innovative technical solutions.

• Ensure engineering best practices, coding standards, and development processes are consistently followed.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across development and platform engineering.

• Support CI/CD implementation and software delivery automation.

Requirements

Must Have

• 10+ years of professional experience in Software or Platform Engineering.

• Strong programming skills in at least one of the following languages:

  • C#

  • Java

  • Python

• Extensive experience designing, developing, and debugging enterprise applications.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools such as GitHub and Azure DevOps.

• Experience building AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs).

• Experience fine-tuning language models for use cases such as text generation, summarization, or question answering.

• Strong understanding of embedding models and their applications, including semantic search, similarity matching, clustering, and information retrieval.

• Experience designing and implementing agentic AI systems that integrate language models with external tools and services.

• Ability to design evaluation frameworks for AI models, including performance benchmarking, metrics development, and A/B testing.

• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and development best practices.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Cloud certifications (Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).

• Experience working with Agile or other modern software delivery methodologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
