Teamworx Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with JYSK, the internationally recognised Danish retail brand, as we search for an enthusiastic, commercially driven and hands-on Store Manager for their Ballincollig location in Cork.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Store Manager or an ambitious Deputy Store Manager ready to take the next step in their career with a growing international retailer.

The Opportunity
As Store Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance, people and day-to-day operations of JYSK's Ballincollig store.
Working alongside your Deputy Store Manager, you'll create a positive team environment while ensuring the store delivers excellent customer service and strong commercial results.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Drive store performance, achieving sales targets, KPIs and commercial objectives.
Coach and develop your team, encouraging individual growth and high performance.
Maintain a visible, hands-on presence on the shop floor, supporting sales and daily operations.
Deliver an excellent customer experience and ensure the store is consistently ready for trade.
Oversee store operations, ensuring company standards, procedures and routines are maintained.
Manage recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of store colleagues.
Identify opportunities for improvement and take proactive action to achieve results.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for a confident, motivated manager who enjoys a fast-paced environment and knows how to get the best from their team.
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
Previous management experience at Deputy Store Manager / Assistant Store Manager level or above.
Proven experience managing teams and delivering results.
A positive, approachable personality with excellent communication skills.
A hands-on management style and willingness to get involved in all aspects of store operations.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.
Commercial awareness with experience working towards sales targets and KPIs.
Confidence in decision-making, problem-solving and managing challenges.
Retail experience is preferred but not essential. Applications are welcomed from experienced managers in other fast-paced, customer-facing environments with strong transferable skills.
A full driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential. The role is based in Ballincollig, with occasional support to other stores in the area potentially required.
