Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend/API Developer with a strong emphasis on Infor Functional knowledge. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in backend development and API integration, with a proven track record of delivering high quality software solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of Infor systems and the ability to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and APIs that integrate with Infor applications.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Implement best practices for API development, including security, performance, and scalability.
• Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in existing applications, providing timely resolutions.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to backend development and Infor systems.
• Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong Infor Functional knowledge is a deal breaker.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Solid understanding of database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle).
• Familiarity with cloud services and deployment (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of front end technologies (e.g., React, Angular) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Experience in performance tuning and optimization of APIs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in backend development and API integration.
• Proven experience working with Infor systems and applications.
• Strong portfolio of completed projects demonstrating technical expertise.
