Job Summary

JD for Network Security

We are looking for a Network & Infrastructure Security professional with 4 5 years of relevant experience in enterprise security environments. The ideal candidate should have hands on experience in assessing, securing, and reviewing network and infrastructure security controls, along with strong knowledge of security best practices, risk management, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Hands on experience with Palo Alto and FortiGate firewalls.
• Conduct firewall rule reviews and access recertification to ensure compliance with security standards and business requirements.
• Perform security risk assessments of network and infrastructure components including routers, switches, firewalls, WAF, load balancers, wireless, and VPN solutions.
• Hands on experience in conducting Firewall Rule Reviews, Security Configuration Reviews, and Risk Assessments.
• Create and maintain clear compliance reports for our network infrastructure.
• Conduct security configuration reviews and hardening assessments in line with industry best practices and standards (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks).
• Identify security gaps, misconfigurations, and operational risks across on premises and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Perform security validation, control effectiveness reviews, and attack simulation exercises to assess security posture.
• Support vulnerability assessment activities and validate remediation of identified findings.
• Review and manage WAF configurations and provide recommendations for protection against network based threats and DoS/DDoS attacks.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure, Cloud, and Application teams to implement security best practices and risk mitigation measures.
• Stay updated on emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and network security technologies.
• Understanding of Cisco ACI & APIC technology.

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, Network Segmentation, VPN, DNS, and Network Security Architecture.
• Hands on experience with Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Routers & Switches, ACI, and APIC.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure Hardening standards and best practices.
• Understanding of WAF, Load Balancers, IDS/IPS, and DDoS mitigation techniques.
• Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Benchmarks, IRDAI, and RBI Cyber Security Guidelines.
• Basic exposure to Cloud Security AWS/Azure) and hybrid infrastructure environments is preferred.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability communicates efficiently with cross functional teams.

Preferred Certifications

• Palo Alto & Fortinet Networks Certified (NSE1, NSE2, NSE3 / PCNSE)
• CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)
• CompTIA Security+ or CySA+
• ISO 27001 Lead Auditor / Lead Implementer
• CISM (Good to Have)
• ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity
