Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Platform/DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on Azure Continuous Integration (CI) to join our dynamic team in Dearborn, MI. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, automating deployment processes, and ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud based applications. This role requires a proactive individual who can collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to enhance our development and operational workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate deployment processes and infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor and optimize application performance and reliability in Azure environments.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of new features and updates.
• Implement security best practices in CI/CD processes and cloud infrastructure.
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members on Azure CI practices.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices for future reference.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies related to DevOps and cloud computing.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Azure Continuous Integration (CI) and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and services, particularly Azure.
• Hands on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or ARM templates.
• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Azure Monitor, Application Insights).

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Chef.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security protocols in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of database management and cloud storage solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5 7 years of experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a related role.
• Relevant certifications in Azure (e.g., Azure DevOps Engineer Expert) are a plus.
• Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

The pay range for this role is $100k - $130k per annum including any bonuses or variable pay.
