Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with a strong background in AWS technologies to join our dynamic team in Bengaluru. The ideal candidate will have 7 10 years of experience in data engineering, with a proven track record of designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and architectures. This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services and best practices in data management and analytics.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes using AWS services such as AWS Glue, AWS Lambda, and Amazon Redshift.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and deliver high quality data solutions.
• Implement data models and data warehousing solutions to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Monitor and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and integrity through rigorous testing and validation processes.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services and data engineering trends to continuously improve our data infrastructure.
• Document data processes, architectures, and workflows for knowledge sharing and compliance.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in AWS Data Engineering, including services like AWS Glue, Amazon Redshift, and AWS Lambda.
• Proficient in SQL and experience with data modeling and database design.
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or AWS Step Functions.
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or Java for data processing tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with big data technologies such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and their integration into data pipelines.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
• AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
