Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced ETL Technical Lead / Senior Informatica Developer to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise data integration solutions. The successful candidate will combine strong hands on expertise in Informatica PowerCenter and SQL with the ability to guide development teams, engage with business and technical stakeholders, and manage delivery across development, testing, deployment, and production support.

The role will support complex data warehouse and migration programs, including modernization of legacy Informatica workloads and integration with Snowflake. Experience in regulated or data intensive industries such as pharmaceuticals, banking, or automotive financial services will be valuable.

Key Responsibilities

ETL design and development

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain ETL mappings, mapplets, transformations, workflows, and reusable components using Informatica PowerCenter.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ETL designs and technical specifications.
• Prepare and maintain Source to Target Mapping specifications, data mapping rules, query designs, and supporting technical documentation.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, database views, and data validation queries.
• Reengineer or migrate legacy Informatica mappings to modern platforms, including Snowflake based data solutions.
• Validate data transformations, reconciliation rules, and migration outputs to maintain data integrity and functional accuracy.
• Diagnose incorrect data population, identify root causes, and reconstruct ETL logic where required.

Technical leadership and delivery

• Lead or coordinate an offshore data engineering team, allocating work and monitoring delivery against sprint and project commitments.
• Provide technical mentoring, design guidance, and structured code reviews for ETL and SQL deliverables.
• Act as a technical point of contact for onshore teams, architects, clients, testing teams, and business users.
• Participate in requirement discovery sessions and resolve technical or architectural questions.
• Estimate development effort, identify implementation dependencies, and prepare delivery and deployment plans.
• Track risks, dependencies, impediments, and delivery status through Agile ceremonies and project reporting.
• Promote coding standards, reusable design patterns, performance optimization, and documentation quality.
