Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Snowflake & Advanced SQL Developer with strong expertise in cloud data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and database performance optimization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable data solutions, optimizing data pipelines, and delivering high performance analytics platforms using Snowflake and advanced SQL techniques.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions using Snowflake.
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Build and support ETL/ELT data pipelines for data ingestion and transformation.
• Implement dimensional and data vault modeling techniques.
• Optimize Snowflake warehouse performance, storage, and query execution.
• Develop data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance processes.
• Work with large scale datasets to support reporting and analytics requirements.
• Collaborate with data engineers, BI developers, and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data and performance issues.
• Implement data governance, security, and access control best practices.

Required Skills

• Strong hands on experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
• Expert level knowledge of Advanced SQL including:
  • Complex Joins and Subqueries
  • CTEs and Recursive Queries
  • Window Functions and Analytical Functions
  • Query Optimization and Performance Tuning
  • Stored Procedures and UDFs
  • Partitioning and Data Aggregation Techniques
• Experience with data warehousing and dimensional modeling concepts.
• Hands on experience with:
  • Snowpipe
  • Streams & Tasks
  • Time Travel
  • Zero Copy Cloning
  • Secure Data Sharing
  • Materialized Views
• Understanding of ETL/ELT processes and data integration.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with dbt, Airflow, Matillion, Informatica, or Azure Data Factory.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with reporting tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Exposure to Python for data processing and automation.
• Snowflake certifications are a plus.
