Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Test Engineer with extensive experience in automated testing frameworks, specifically with Selenium and Cypress. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and performance of our software applications. This role requires a detail oriented individual who can work collaboratively within a team to deliver high quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Cypress.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to understand requirements and develop test strategies.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Document test cases, test results, and defects in a clear and concise manner.
• Provide support for manual testing when necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in QA automation.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience with Selenium for automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of Cypress for end to end testing.
• Experience in developing and executing test plans and test cases.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with cloud based testing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 7 10 years of experience in QA automation testing.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Certifications in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) are a plus.
