Here's what awaits you

As the direct point of contact at a major Vienna-based insurer, you will work on a multi-year modernization project centered around the tech11 Insurance Platform. You will support its implementation and further development, actively helping to shape processes and products. Exciting tasks await you, including:

• Model insurance products and design business processes in BPMN 2.0
• Create requirements and gap analyses, including coordination with development teams
• Develop, discuss, and take ownership of solution designs, including customer-specific implementations
• Make process-related software adjustments in JavaScript/Camunda BPM
• Requirements engineering
• Plan and conduct functional tests
• IT consulting and system integration (including on-site with clients)
• Project management, e.g. planning, coordinating, and steering work packages, as well as liaising with the client

This is what sets you apart

• You have completed a degree in business informatics or a comparable field, or hold an equivalent qualification through professional experience
• You bring several years of experience as a business analyst or requirements engineer within core insurance systems, particularly in composite lines (property, casualty, legal protection)
• You have already gained experience in project management and want to actively apply it
• You have a good technical understanding, particularly of IT architectures, as well as hands-on experience in software development processes
• Ideally, you bring knowledge of process modeling (e.g. BPMN 2.0) and process automation (e.g. Camunda BPM)
• You also take on responsibility at the interface between business and IT
• You have good working knowledge of common software development tools, such as version control tools (e.g. GIT) and API testing
• You have basic knowledge of JavaScript and SQL
• You are proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• You are able to explain technical matters clearly and precisely in both German and English
• IT affinity, initiative, and motivation round out your profile
