Full-stack Developer
Would you like to build digital products and services that connect vehicles, customers and the people who keep vehicles on the road?
TECHLA is looking for experienced full-stack developers for assignments in automotive and connected services. You’ll work in product teams developing everything from customer-facing applications to cloud-based services and integrations.
The technology stack varies by assignment. It may include React and TypeScript on the frontend, with backend services built using Java and Spring Boot, C#/.NET, Node.js, Python or Go. Teams work with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
What you’ll work on
Depending on the assignment, you may:
- Design, build and maintain frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Develop backend services, APIs and integrations
- Connect user-facing applications to cloud services and distributed systems
- Work with microservices and event-driven architectures
- Build and operate solutions on AWS or Azure
- Develop automated tests and improve CI/CD, monitoring and service reliability
- Contribute to technical design, code reviews and architecture discussions
- Take features from requirements and design through implementation, testing and production
What we’re looking for
- Several years of professional full-stack development experience, typically five or more
- Hands-on experience developing both frontend and backend functionality
- Strong frontend skills in React and TypeScript, or comparable modern web technologies
- Strong backend experience in at least one relevant stack, such as Java/Spring Boot, C#/.NET, Node.js, Python or Go
- Experience building APIs, integrations or distributed applications
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure
- A good understanding of testing, code quality and maintainable software
- The ability to collaborate with colleagues across product, design and engineering
- Fluent English; Swedish is a plus.
- A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
It’s a plus if you have
- GraphQL, Kafka or other event-streaming technologies
- AWS serverless services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB or SQS
- Kubernetes, Docker and CI/CD
- SQL and NoSQL databases
- Experience from automotive, connected vehicles, telecom or other product-focused environments
- Experience operating and improving production services
The mindset we’re looking for
For us, being a great engineer is about more than technical skills.
We’re looking for people with a strong consulting mindset - people who understand that great consulting is about creating real value, taking ownership and being someone both the team and the client can rely on.
You’re highly skilled at what you do, but you’re also a doer who cares about quality. You don’t wait for someone else to solve the problem. You take initiative, move things forward and care about delivering work you can genuinely be proud of.
At the same time, you genuinely enjoy working with others. You communicate openly, share knowledge, contribute to a positive team dynamic and believe that the best results are created together.
You take responsibility for the bigger picture, stay solution-oriented and aren’t afraid to go the extra mile when it makes a difference. At the same time, you’re humble, genuine and enjoy working with people who challenge and support each other.
In short, we’re looking for engineers who want to go beyond - technically, professionally and as part of a team.
We’re open to both employment and freelance/subcontractor setups - so whether you’re looking to join TECHLA or take on your next assignment as an independent consultant, we’d love to hear from you.
Feel free to reach out to [email protected] or submit your application, and we’ll be happy to tell you more about the opportunities.
