Project Manager (Infrastructure)

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Techno is seeking a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a major $800M+ waterfront infrastructure project in New York City. This is a full-time, primarily on-site role in New York City overseeing a major infrastructure project involving waterfront construction, deep foundations, reinforced concrete structures, shoreline stabilization, and utility coordination. The Project Manager will lead project delivery by coordinating with owners, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure safe, on-time, and on-budget execution. 

• Lead the project management team, including Resident Engineers, Office Engineers, inspectors, consultants, and support staff, through all phases of construction.
• Manage marine, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil construction projects, including waterfront and utility infrastructure.
• Oversee contract administration, including submittals, RFIs, change orders, pay applications, schedules, claims, and QA/QC compliance.
• Coordinate with owners, engineers, contractors, utilities, and regulatory agencies to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risk, reporting, documentation, and closeout to ensure successful project delivery.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, Construction Engineering, or a related field.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety certification required.
• 10+ years of project or construction management experience, including 5+ years leading projects of similar size and complexity.
• Experience managing marine, waterfront, structural, geotechnical, and heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of public-sector contract administration, project controls, QA/QC, CPM scheduling, and construction safety.
• Proven leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with agencies such as NYCEDC, NYCDDC, NYCDOT, NYSDOT, MTA, Port Authority, or similar public-sector organizations preferred.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel locally as project needs require is expected.

COMPENSATION

The anticipated compensation range for this position is between $80.00-$100.00/hr. Final compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, education, certifications, skills, and work location.
