Engineering Manager

Job Description :

Seeking a hands-on Engineering Manager with strong Full Stack development expertise and a passion for building secure, scalable, and business-critical applications.

This role combines technical leadership, people management, and hands-on engineering responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead, coach, mentor, and develop a team of software engineers, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

- Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, career development planning, and talent management activities.

- Drive recruitment efforts, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and retention of top engineering talent.

- Provide technical leadership and hands-on contribution across the full software development lifecycle.

- Partner with Product Managers, Architects, Security, and Business stakeholders to define and deliver technology solutions aligned with business objectives.

- Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, code quality standards, security requirements, accessibility standards, and operational excellence.

- Support production applications, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Leverage AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining appropriate governance, security, and code quality standards.

- CI/CD : Harness, Jenkins, GitHub Actions

- Monitoring & Observability : New Relic, Splunk, or similar tools

- Application Security : Qualys, Contrast, Twistlock/Prisma Cloud, or similar security platforms
