AML Model Tester

Description

The AML Model Tester is responsible for validating and testing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) models built in SAS and Python to ensure consistency, accuracy, and regulatory defensibility. This role requires hands-on analysis of model logic, data flows, and outputs to identify and explain discrepancies across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end validation and testing of AML models in SAS and Python

Analyze and compare model logic, transformations, and outputs across platforms

Investigate discrepancies and conduct root-cause analysis of differences in calculations, assumptions, or data handling

Trace data through full model pipelines to identify divergence points

Document testing methodology, scope, results, and findings in formal reports

Produce audit-ready documentation outlining test coverage and conclusions

Collaborate with developers, data scientists, and model owners to validate fixes and ensure model accuracy

Must Haves:

Strong hands-on experience with SAS and Python

Experience comparing models across platforms and identifying discrepancies

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to document findings clearly in professional reports

Nice to Haves:

AML / financial domain knowledge

Model validation or governance experience

Experience in regulated financial environments

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
