AI/ML Engineer

TekWissen is recruiting an AI/ML Engineer for an unnamed client. The role designs, develops, and deploys AI/ML solutions across healthcare, pharmacy, and digital health platforms, supporting operational improvement, patient experiences, claims processing, and predictive analytics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models for healthcare and pharmacy applications
• Develop predictive analytics solutions for healthcare operations, claims, and patient engagement
• Build AI-powered applications using Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn
• Develop Generative AI applications using LLMs and prompt engineering
• Implement RAG pipelines, vector databases, embeddings, and AI-powered search solutions
• Process and analyze large healthcare datasets using Python, SQL, and cloud data platforms
• Build and maintain scalable AI services and REST APIs
• Develop model training, deployment, monitoring, and MLOps pipelines
• Collaborate with data engineers, software developers, healthcare stakeholders, and product teams
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, healthcare data privacy, security, and responsible AI standards

Skills

• 5–8+ Years of Experience is required
• 5+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or software development
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Experience with Machine Learning algorithms and statistical modeling
• Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn
• Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and prompt engineering
• Knowledge of LangChain, LangGraph, or LlamaIndex
• Experience with RAG, embeddings, and vector databases
• Strong SQL and data processing skills
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices
• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD
• Understanding of data privacy and security requirements
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field
• Healthcare, pharmacy, health insurance, or PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) experience
• Knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and PII data protection
• Experience with healthcare claims, prescription data, eligibility, and patient engagement datasets
• Experience with AWS SageMaker, Azure Machine Learning, or Google Vertex AI
• Knowledge of Databricks, Spark, and MLflow
• Experience deploying AI solutions in production healthcare environments
