Job Description

Teledyne Cable Solutions - Part of Teledyne Marine Interconnect Solutions

In this role, you’ll act as the technical bridge between engineering, manufacturing, and customers-while serving as the primary point of contact for export jurisdiction and classification (J/C). Your work ensures that complex cable and interconnect solutions are not only technically sound but also compliant with regulatory requirements. You’ll play a critical role in enabling safe, compliant growth across global markets.

What you’ll do

• Translate customer specifications into standard and engineered-to-order cable and interconnect solutions
• Serve as the site lead for export jurisdiction and classification (J/C) activities
• Support technical discussions with customers in both pre- and post-sales phases
• Deliver product demonstrations and technical presentations to support business development
• Collaborate with manufacturing on new product introductions and assembly support
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, application notes, and specifications
• Ensure solutions meet customer expectations, quality standards, and compliance requirements
• Train internal teams on newly developed products and assemblies
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
• Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence initiatives

What you need

• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills - required
• Ability to interpret technical requirements and translate into practical solutions - required
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability - required
• Knowledge of export jurisdiction and classification (e.g., ITAR) - preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field - required
• 1-3 years of engineering or applications experience - preferred
• Experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) - preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) - required
