At Teledyne FLIR, we develop world-leading thermal imaging and sensing solutions that help save lives, improve safety, conserve energy, and protect critical infrastructure around the globe.

At our site in Täby, Stockholm - also the FLIR Solutions head office - we develop advanced commercial thermal cameras and infrared modules used worldwide. Here, cross-functional teams work closely with production under one roof, giving engineers the opportunity to follow the full product journey and contribute to technology with real-world impact.

To strengthen our Embedded Applications team, we are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer who wants to help shape the next generation of intelligent imaging products. You will join a skilled and collaborative cross-functional team, where your work will help evolve our software platforms and deliver robust, innovative features that create real customer value.

What you'll do

·Translate user and business needs into technical solutions in collaboration with product management, service, system and the other development teams.

·Design, develop, and maintain software for our Embedded Linux or Android devices

·Build robust and maintainable embedded applications primarily in C++, but also in Rust

·Contribute to development and evolution of a web-based platform for camera configuration, control, diagnostics and service.

·Support team growth through knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

What you need

·Several years of experience developing software for embedded systems

·Good experience working with C++ standards (C++17 or later)

·Experience with Embedded Linux or Embedded Android development

·Experience with web-based interfaces or Rust development (preferred)

·Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, and open-source software (preferred)

·B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, or a related field (preferred)

·Swedish language skills

·Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken
