Job Description

We are currently seeking a New Product Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance vision systems. The selected candidate will work in an advanced technical environment, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Position Summary and Responsibilities

Industrialization Activities:

  • Follow up on the development plan for new product introductions, collaborating with the department director and other areas to deliver products on time, within cost, and with the required quality, based on the plan and specifications agreed upon with business team units.

  • Support the production department with the procedures needed for manufacturing during sampling and ramp-up phases.

  • Assist in the development of raw materials and the industrialization of test means.

  • Responsible for discussions with subcontractors regarding quality and planning issues during the industrialization phase.

  • Define and pilot JEDEC/AECQ100 qualifications to ensure the reliability of our products.

  • Proactively support the industrialization director to achieve on-time delivery against the manufacturing plan.

  • Implement and lead customer requests and RMA during industrialization phase.

Test Development Activities:

  • Implement and deploy fully functional wafer-level and package-level automatic tests for CMOS image sensors, following the test procedures agreed upon during the industrialization phase.

  • Ensure test procedures are strictly and efficiently adhered to, and that all documentation is fully completed and accurately supports test results.

  • Define and implement tests based on the product specification and desired test coverage.

  • Actively support test time reduction, bin definition, and yield studies based on continuous improvement principles.

  • Support external vendors with hardware and software test design, along with bring-up and site transfer.

  • Produce and review test specifications, providing feedback into design for future devices.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Telecommunication, Industrial Engineering (specializing in Robotics, Automation, or Electronics) or Electronical Engineering

  • Recent graduate. But experience in a related area is a plus.

  • Desirable experience with image manipulation and signal processing. Experience in semiconductor manufacturing, wafer classifications, and testing is a plus.

  • Relevant experience in electronic testing and validation; experience using laboratory equipment (power supplies, signal generator, SMU, oscilloscope, logic analyzer, thermal test equipment, GPIB, etc.).

  • Ability to obtain and present conclusions based on statistical data.

  • Ability to lead activities independently with minimal direction.

  • Familiarity with Matlab and Office (high level of Excel). Knowledge of Python and LabView/TestStand is a plus.

  • Excellent communication skills in English (both spoken and written) in a team environment; French language skills are an asset.

Resumen del puesto y responsabilidades

Actividades de Industrialización

  • Realizar el seguimiento del plan de desarrollo para la introducción de nuevos productos, colaborando con la dirección del departamento y otras áreas para entregar los productos en plazo, dentro del presupuesto y con la calidad requerida, de acuerdo con el plan y las especificaciones acordadas con las unidades de negocio.

  • Dar soporte al departamento de producción mediante los procedimientos necesarios para la fabricación durante las fases de muestreo y escalado de producción.

  • Participar en el desarrollo de materias primas y en la industrialización de los medios de ensayo.

  • Responsable de las interacciones con subcontratistas en relación con cuestiones de calidad y planificación durante la fase de industrialización.

  • Definir y liderar las cualificaciones JEDEC/AECQ100 para garantizar la fiabilidad de nuestros productos.

  • Apoyar de forma proactiva al Director de Industrialización para asegurar el cumplimiento de los plazos establecidos en el plan de fabricación.

  • Gestionar e implantar las solicitudes de clientes y las devoluciones/RMA durante la fase de industrialización.

Actividades de Desarrollo de Test

  • Implementar y desplegar pruebas automáticas completamente funcionales a nivel de oblea (wafer) y encapsulado (package) para sensores de imagen CMOS, siguiendo los procedimientos de prueba acordados durante la fase de industrialización.

  • Garantizar que los procedimientos de ensayo se sigan de forma rigurosa y eficiente, y que toda la documentación quede correctamente completada para respaldar los resultados obtenidos.

  • Definir e implementar los ensayos necesarios en función de las especificaciones del producto y la cobertura de prueba requerida.

  • Participar activamente en la reducción de tiempos de ensayo, definición de categorías de clasificación (bins) y estudios de rendimiento (yield), aplicando principios de mejora continua.

  • Dar soporte a proveedores externos en el diseño de hardware y software de test, así como en las actividades de puesta en marcha (bring-up) y transferencia entre centros.

  • Elaborar y revisar especificaciones de ensayo, proporcionando retroalimentación al área de diseño para futuros desarrollos.

Requisitos

  • Titulación universitaria enIngeniería de Telecomunicación, Ingeniería Industrial (especialidad en Robótica, Automatización o Electrónica) o Ingeniería Electrónica.

  • Recién titulado/a. Se valorará experiencia previa en áreas relacionadas.

  • Se valorará experiencia en manipulación de imágenes y procesamiento de señales. También será un plus la experiencia en fabricación de semiconductores, clasificación de obleas y actividades de test.

  • Experiencia relevante en pruebas y validación electrónica, así como en el uso de equipamiento de laboratorio (fuentes de alimentación, generadores de señal, SMU, osciloscopios, analizadores lógicos, equipos de ensayo térmico, GPIB, etc.).

  • Capacidad para obtener conclusiones y presentar resultados basados en datos estadísticos.

  • Capacidad para liderar actividades de forma autónoma con una supervisión mínima.

  • Conocimientos de Matlab y Microsoft Office (especialmente Excel a nivel avanzado). Se valorarán conocimientos de Python y LabVIEW/TestStand.

  • Excelentes habilidades de comunicación en inglés, tanto oral como escrita, para trabajar en entornos colaborativos. Se valorará el conocimiento de francés.
