Job Description

Company Overview:

Teledyne Microwave UK provide enabling technologies primarily focused on aerospace, defence, and weather radar.

What you'll be involved in:

You will join our Engineering Team to design RF Circuits and Systems. We design and build leading edge RF technology within the range of 500MHz to 40GHz.

You will be responsible for researching new enabling technologies for the Teledyne Microwave UK Roadmap which you will help to shape.

Key Responsibilities

Perform detailed design and development of many types of RF Components, Systems and Multi-function Assemblies in particular;

  • Radar receiver protection

  • Switches

  • Systems

  • Converters

  • Transceivers

  • Amplifiers

Technical input to other disciplines to enable the complete project.

Work with Sales & Marketing to support customer visits and provide product expertise.

What we're looking for in you:

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • An accomplished RF and Microwave Design Engineer with experience in RF Front End protection and waveguide limiters.

  • Experience in the design of RF microwave components used within the Defence or Aerospace Industry.

  • Experience of RF design up to 40GHz.

  • Experienced with 3D EM simulation tools CST, HFSS etc.

  • Experience with other microwave design tools AWR, ADS etc.

  • The successful candidate must be security clearable up to SC level.
