Your role as People Partner Expert - Talent Acquisition

Talent Acquisition at Telenet group is about more than filling vacancies. It is about shaping the future of our organisation through the people we attract, assess and hire. From that ambition, we are building a TA function where quality, predictability and fairness are the standard, supported by evidence-based recruitment and professional judgement.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Taking ownership of high-quality hiring by ensuring transparency, consistency and compliance throughout the entire recruitment process, including in complex or changing environments;
  • Designing and leading targeted recruitment strategies for critical talent segments and executive hiring, based on business priorities, workforce needs and future capability requirements;
  • Building and maintaining strategic talent pipelines for critical and executive roles through talent mapping, market intelligence and proactive engagement of external talent;
  • Constructively challenging hiring managers and guiding decisions based on data, insights and professional judgement;
  • Acting as an assessor in selection and assessment processes, with a strong focus on quality, bias awareness and predictive validity, and translating results into clear, evidence-based recommendations for hiring managers and business stakeholders;
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of TA practices, tooling and capabilities by gathering relevant insights, developing evidence-based proposals and creating support for implementation and long-term adoption;
  • Driving the quality and consistency of selection decisions by initiating and facilitating peer reviews and calibration sessions, acting as a sounding board and subject-matter expert on objectivity, bias awareness and assessment frameworks.

Your profile as People Partner Expert - Talent Acquisition

You are an experienced recruitment professional who:

  • Combines a passion for Talent Acquisition with a strong commitment to professional excellence and continuous learning;
  • Has an academic background in Work and Organizational Psychology, or has built equivalent expertise through relevant professional experience in assessment, selection and organisational psychology;
  • Thrives in complex, ambiguous and high-stakes hiring environments;
  • Demonstrates strong judgement, analytical thinking and mature stakeholder management;
  • Builds credibility through expertise, integrity and a data-informed approach;
  • Looks beyond vacancies and sees talent as a strategic lever for business success;
  • Values integrity, fairness and evidence over intuition;
  • Communicates clearly in both Dutch and English, challenges respectfully and leads with professional credibility.
