Senior Java Developer

Project Info A mission-critical, multi-platform solution serving as the central hub for travelers and travel agents worldwide. The project powers the daily workflow of hundreds of thousands of travel professionals by delivering rich travel content, smart automation, and modern AI channel integrations. It focuses on the full lifecycle development of two flagship product lines: Agency Concierge & Traveler Concierge, with seamless integration into core services and third-party systems.

Key Functional Areas

• AI & Smart Automation Workflows: ADK-based travel services automation workflows and AI-driven task orchestration using platforms like Conductor.
• LLM & Generative AI Integration: Integration of modern AI models (such as the Gemini family and Vertex AI) to power intelligent agent features.
• System Integration: Connecting core travel systems and external third-party platforms into a high-performance central hub.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, and maintain high-quality backend services and automation workflows using Java and Python.
• Integrate generative AI models (Gemini family, Vertex AI) into travel agent and traveler platforms.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex performance and availability issues across development and production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and Product Owners to clarify requirements, align on priorities, and demo weekly progress.
• Participate in release management, production delivery, technical documentation, and code reviews.
• Mentor junior engineers and facilitate internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Core Tech Stack: Solid expertise in Java, Python, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• AI & ML Focus: Hands-on experience with Vertex AI, Gemini models, and the AI Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Work Model: Readiness to work in a hybrid setup (2-3 days a week from the office)
• Soft Skills: Strong written and spoken English, analytical problem-solving, and a team-oriented mindset
• Nice to Have: Understanding of ML/LLM architectures, workflow orchestration platforms (e.g., Conductor), and AI-driven testing or test automation methodologies

Must possess a legal work permit in Poland
