Senior Test Automation Engineer

For our client we’re looking for a talented and motivated Senior Test Automation Engineer from Kraków and the surrounding areas.

The team is responsible end-to-end for the development, testing & support of a widely used Software Development Kit which enables thousands of developers around the world to create apps deployed to over 250,000 end users worldwide. Our development process is based on Agile principles with a strong focus on continuous integration and continuous delivery. Quality assurance work is mainly concentrated on test automation: creating test scripts for Java APIs, Typescript APIs, Java & Web UI and web services. Responsibilities:

• Work alongside developers and business stakeholders to automate acceptance criteria.
• Build robust and high-quality test automation solutions for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Create reusable scripts/tools wherever required.
• Contribute to both functional and non-functional areas of testing. Functional testing includes testing from a functionality/requirements perspective and is largely driven by acceptance criteria or user stories.
• Participate in design and architectural discussions and provide effective feedback in code reviews.

Job requirements:

• Experience with Java (8/11) backend programming, ideally in orchestration services.
• Experience in Java testing automation for backend services, Spock, Groovy, etc.
• Experience with frameworks/libraries: Spring Boot, Spring, Vavr, Maven, Rest.
• Familiarity with: Cloud (GCP), Docker, JMeter, Jenkins, Git.

Must possess a legal work permit in Poland
