What the Role Entails

Tencent Cloud is seeking an experienced Senior Solution Architect to support enterprise pre-sales engagements and drive technical solution excellence. This role focuses on translating customer business requirements into scalable cloud architectures, leading proof-of-concept initiatives, and developing compelling technical proposals that enable successful deal conversion. You will collaborate closely with Sales, clients, and internal technical teams to design practical, high-impact cloud solutions while representing Tencent Cloud’s technical credibility in customer-facing engagements.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, execute, and oversee technical proof-of-concept activities to validate solution feasibility and business value, including AI-enabled cloud migration optimization to improve migration efficiency, reduce operational risks and optimize resource costs.
• Develop high-quality technical proposals and comprehensive Statements of Work aligned with customer requirements and project scope, integrating cloud migration planning and lightweight AI optimization design to meet enterprise digital and intelligent upgrading needs.·
• Engage closely with clients and Sales teams to understand business objectives, technical pain points in cloud migration, and intelligent transformation expectations, and tailor matched cloud migration and AI optimization solution strategies.·
• Collaborate with field engineering and delivery teams to define solution architecture and implementation scope, leverage AI capabilities to resolve core migration pain points including resource allocation imbalance and migration risk uncertainty, and ensure project stability and cost-effectiveness.·
• Conduct technical presentations and solution workshops to articulate Tencent Cloud’s cloud service capabilities and AI-driven migration optimization strengths, strengthening customer confidence in cloud migration and intelligent upgrading.
• Provide professional pre-sales technical consultation and solution optimization for key cloud migration and intelligent transformation projects, and summarize localized solution templates suitable for Thai enterprises.
• Track the iteration of Tencent Cloud migration and AI optimization technologies, support market expansion and project bidding, and continuously polish solution competitiveness based on local industry demands.

Who We Look For

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing or related disciplines; professional-level cloud certifications and AI industry certification are highly advantageous.
• Minimum 5 years of cloud pre-sales architecture experience with strong expertise in IaaS and PaaS products, with mature enterprise cloud migration experience; experience in applying AI technologies to optimize cloud migration processes is preferred.
• Broad technical knowledge across multiple domains including Linux and Windows Server OS, web service stack, networking, migration, data storage, containerization, and DevOps; basic understanding of AI application in cloud migration optimization scenarios is required.
• Experience in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell is an advantage; familiarity with Tencent Cloud AI and migration tools is a plus.
• Familiar with the digital transformation demands of Southeast Asian enterprises, with independent pre-sales solution design capabilities for cloud migration and AI optimization projects.
• Strong cross-team communication and customer demand mining capabilities, able to independently deliver technical verification and solution demonstration for complex cloud migration and intelligent optimization projects.
