Are you ready to make a real impact on the world of robotics? At Teradyne Robotics, a division of Teradyne, we are revolutionizing industries through cutting-edge collaborative and autonomous mobile robotic technologies. As part of our team, you’ll work with global leaders Universal Robots (UR) and Mobile Industrial Robots (MiR), driving innovation that enhances manufacturing, logistics and workplaces across the world.

Our Purpose

We are looking for a senior program manager who can take clear ownership of complex, fast-paced product-development programs. You will establish execution discipline, make commitments and trade-offs visible, and build a trusted information flow that gives management confidence that the program is controlled and managed.

Role Purpose

Own end-to-end execution of a strategically important product platform or business program. Manage and lead cross-functional teams through assigned coordinators, while raising program-management execution standards across the project management office.

Opportunity Overview

You will be the primary execution driver for a strategic robotics product platform or business program, leading a cross-functional team of approximately 20-50 people without formal line authority. You will build the program structure directly from available engineering resources and guide several linked projects towards integrated deliveries.

  • Create and own the integrated program plan, resource request, baseline, critical path, dependencies, milestones and recovery actions from scope definition through development, validation, industrialization, release and handover.
  • Build a cohesive team across product management, hardware, software, operations, sourcing, quality, and regulatory and compliance functions.
  • Work closely with hardware engineering and safety and compliance, providing hands-on leadership around planning, interfaces, decisions, ownership and follow-through.
  • Establish credible commitments, intervene early when delivery is at risk, and ensure changes to scope, timing or resources are consciously decided.
  • Maintain a transparent view of schedule, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies; escalate unresolved trade-offs early with recommendations and clear consequences.
  • Drive structured root-cause problem solving on technical issues, bringing the right experts together early to reach fast, durable resolutions.
  • Create decision-ready options, clarify owners and deadlines, drive closure and communicate agreements to affected teams.
  • Coach team coordinators to run sub-teams with clear plans, commitments, risk ownership and escalation, while strengthening PMO standards and reusable practices.
  • Provide concise, credible program status and drive operating reviews and steering discussions focused on agreements, recovery and delivery confidence.

About You

You bring the following experience and approach:

  • Min. 8 yearsof project and program management experience leading complex, cross-functional product-development programs/projects.
  • Demonstrated ownership of fast-paced, complex, cross-functional product-development programs with significant hardware, software and functional-safety content.
  • Strong command of integrated planning, critical-path management, risk and issue control, resource planning and recovery execution.
  • Experience across development, validation, industrialization and product release, ideally in robotics, mechatronics or a similar hardware and software environment.
  • Ability to influence senior technical and functional stakeholders, build accountability without formal authority and communicate with management in a concise, transparent and recommendation-oriented way.
  • A hands-on mindset and the right attitude: you take ownership, stay close to the work and are willing to go the extra mile when needed to remove obstacles and realize the project.
  • Constructive directness, sound judgment under pressure and the persistence to follow through when priorities shift, milestones move or delivery setbacks occur.

What Success Looks Like

You establish one integrated plan and operating rhythm, create credible team commitments, give leadership a trusted view of schedule, risks and recovery actions, and help the cross-functional program team operate as one team. Your leadership becomes a visible benchmark for strong program-management execution within the PMO.
