Do you want your design work to carry a brand that operates on the ground, at sea, in the air, and in space?
Terma is growing, and our brand must grow with us. We are entering new markets, establishing new country entities, and appearing at more international events than ever before. That places a real demand on the way we look and the way we present ourselves, from a two-page leave-behind to a conference booth to a board-level presentation.
We are therefore looking for a Brand Designer to join us in Brasov. You will be the designer who helps keep the Terma identity consistent and well crafted across everything we produce, and who makes it easy for colleagues across the Group to stay on brand without us. You will work closely with Kelly Keodara, Corporate Brand Manager, and with colleagues in marketing, communications, sales, and business development across our global sites.
This is a hands-on role in a small team with a high output. You will own your work end to end, and you will see it printed, built, projected, and put in front of customers and partners.
Your responsibilities
- Presentation and document design. Decks and documents are among our highest-volume and most visible outputs. You will design them well, and build templates that colleagues want to use.
- Design system maintenance in Supernova. You will own our brand documentation in Supernova, keeping guidelines, components, templates, and assets current as the identity evolves, and making sure the platform remains the single trusted source colleagues turn to.
- Brand identity in practice. You will apply and evolve the Terma identity across every touchpoint, holding a consistent standard of typography, layout, colour, and imagery as the company grows.
- Event and exhibition graphics support. Where needed, assist in booth design, signage, wayfinding, large-format print, stand branding, and merchandise for a busy international events calendar.
- Digital and social. Campaign assets, social visuals, digital advertising, and web graphics.
- Brand systems and templates. You will extend our collateral system so that design becomes templated, unified, and increasingly self-service across the business.
Your qualifications
We expect you to bring:
- A portfolio led by brand and graphic design: identity work, layout, typography, print, and presentation design. This is what we will look at first and weigh most heavily.
- 3-5 years of professional experience in a brand or graphic design role.
- Strong typography and layout craft. This is not negotiable in this role.
- Presentation design skills. You can make a complex deck clear, credible, and good-looking under time pressure.
- Hands-on experience with Supernova, or a comparable design system and brand documentation platform, and the discipline to keep it maintained rather than letting it drift.
- Print production literacy. You are comfortable with bleed, colour, stock, and finishing, and confident briefing and reviewing proofs with a printer.
- Figma as your primary tool, plus professional-grade Adobe skills across InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
- Breadth and self-direction. You are comfortable being the design generalist in a small team: prioritizing your own workload, switching between very different tasks, and taking work from brief to finished file without close supervision.
- Professional fluency in English, written and spoken, with the confidence to present your work to stakeholders.
Nice to have
- Motion graphics and video. We want to do more video for Terma brand initiatives, so After Effects and Premiere Pro for social cutdowns, event loops, and product sequences are a real advantage.
- 3D visualisation in Cinema 4D or Blender, including the ability to work with CAD files for hardware visualisation.
- Data visualization: turning complex technical data into clear, well-designed graphics.
- Other languages, given our footprint across the globe.
Motion and 3D will be genuinely useful here, but they are not the core of the job. If your portfolio is primarily a motion reel, this is not the right role for you.
What we offer
At Terma you will find great people, challenging tasks, world-class expertise, and meaningful contribution. You will join an international environment where colleagues depend on each other, where we hold high expectations of one another, and where openness, mutual respect, readiness for change, and a positive attitude are how we work.
- Professional development and training, and the opportunity to grow with a brand that is scaling internationally.
- Real ownership of your work, and visibility of it across the Group.
