About the role
Join Tesco Ireland’s 10-week Commercial Internship Programme and gain hands-on experience in one of Ireland’s leading retail businesses. This is an exciting opportunity to learn about our business, work alongside experienced colleagues, and contribute to projects that make a real difference for our customers, colleagues and the planet. During the programme, you'll gain exposure to key areas of our Commercial function, rotating across our Fresh and Packaged Food teams while developing an understanding of how Tesco sources, ranges and delivers products that customers love. You'll learn how to build supplier relationships, contribute to the development of new product lines, and gain valuable experience in negotiation and supplier management. You'll work on meaningful projects, collaborate with experienced colleagues, and develop workplace skills that will support your future career. While this internship is focused on Commercial, the role is varied and may provide opportunities to work on projects beyond food categories. Salary: 28,000 € Programme start date: 14 June 2027

You will be responsible for
Supporting your team with meaningful, live business projects and day-to-day activities. Collaborating with colleagues across different functions to deliver outcomes and gain a broader understanding of the business. Analysing information and contributing ideas to improve processes, projects, and customer experiences. Taking ownership of tasks and project deliverables, with support from experienced mentors and colleagues. Building relationships across the business and actively participating in team discussions and activities. Engaging with learning and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge. Demonstrating Tesco values in everything you do and contributing positively to an inclusive team environment.
You will need
A genuine curiosity and desire to learn, develop and grow both personally and professionally.
