Role: Business Analyst / Product Owner Support Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst / Product Owner Support Consultant to support digital transformation initiatives within a Project Procurement Department (PPD).

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating business needs into clear requirements, prioritised backlogs and successful digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Support product backlog management, refinement and prioritisation.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum teams, developers, IT and data management teams.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and process mapping activities.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), defect tracking and release readiness.
• Monitor sprint progress, dependencies, risks and delivery priorities.
• Support digital transformation, change management and system migration initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong experience in Business Analysis, Product Ownership support or digital transformation.

E-procurement or procurement transformation experience.

Hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management.

Expertise in requirements gathering, user stories and acceptance criteria.

Experience in UAT, release management and stakeholder engagement.

Strong analytical, documentation, communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work effectively with business, technology and data teams.

• Public sector or institutional procurement experience.
• Data management, governance or compliance-driven digital systems.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar Agile delivery tools.
