Senior DevOps Engineer

Tetra Digital Group is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to own infrastructure as code secure deployments observability incident response secrets resilience and compliance evidence.

You will own cloud infrastructure, Terraform, CI/CD, observability, incident response, secrets management, access controls, disaster recovery, and automated compliance evidence. You will improve deployment safety, maintain audit-ready systems, participate in shared on-call coverage, and build reliable platforms for regulated financial operations.

• Manage AWS infrastructure and Terraform code
• Maintain environment parity across infrastructure
• Build safe CI/CD pipelines with progressive rollouts and rollback capabilities
• Implement metrics logs traces alerts runbooks and postmortems
• Manage secrets IAM credential rotation and key material boundaries
• Design segregation of duties peer approvals break-glass procedures and immutable audit logging
• Test backup restore failover and disaster recovery procedures
• Automate compliance evidence generation
• Participate in shared 24/7 on-call coverage

• 6+ years of experience in DevOps SRE platform or cloud infrastructure engineering
• Production ownership of systems where failure had significant consequences
• Deep AWS or equivalent cloud experience including networking IAM multi-account architecture and cost management
• Fluency with Terraform
• Experience with Kubernetes or ECS
• Experience with secrets and identity management
• Incident response and postmortem experience
• Scripting and tooling development experience
• Ability to communicate outages to compliance officers and clients
• Crypto experience is a plus but not required
• Experience with SOC 2 Type II PCI OSFI-adjacent or provincial regulatory examinations is a plus
• Experience with node infrastructure MPC or hardware security modules is a plus
