Thales Americas is looking for a highly experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in Austin supporting our Cybersecurity & Digital Identity group. The Talent Acquisition team delivers all of Thales America’s recruitment needs using the Talent Advisor Maturity Model, with a heavy focus on Sourcing, Assessment, and Selection targeting/attracting passive talent.
This position is an exciting opportunity in which you will be able to truly gain an understanding into the mechanics of a business and play a real part in the success of the delivery of its programs. This is a frontline position / “seat at the table”, and we are looking for someone who is service oriented, passionate about understanding their customer and consistently exceeding expectations by delivering the best possible talent.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Champion the 'search' based Talent Acquisition process, with a heavy focus on sourcing, clearly define Hiring Managers' roles and set performance expectations
Act as a champion of Thales America’s Integrated Talent Acquisition Strategy, including influencing key stakeholders at all levels of the organization to adopt new processes, tools and behaviors
Provide “thought leadership”, strategic advice, coaching on all areas of Talent Acquisition activity
Partner with the key stakeholders across the business to drive continuous improvement in the speed, quality, and cost of hiring
Influence key stakeholders to align expectations to the external marketplace
Personally own the full Talent Acquisition lifecycle for assigned roles, from requirements definition, sourcing, selection through to onboarding
Deliver a number (circa.15-25 unique roles at any one time) of technical and senior level positions (Software Engineering, Sales and support function roles)
Own the Hiring Manager and Candidate relationship, coaching them through the proactive sourcing and recruitment process, their role within it, creating appropriate target lists and a compelling value proposition to sell to passive candidates
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (or comparable education and experience)
5+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role with experience recruiting in Software Engineering & Sales environments
2+ years of in-house corporate recruitment experience required
3+ years of experience using LinkedIn Recruiter
Able to positively influence at all levels of an organization and develop valued relationships with Senior Executives, HR Partners, Hiring Managers and Candidates alike
Ability to drive outcomes in large matrix environment, flexible, and with a strong drive to achieve desired outcomes in a dynamic environment as priorities and objectives evolve
Highly analytical, with the ability to interpret complex information, identify trends, and create strategic action plans
Lead, model, manage and coach the organization in best practice selection techniques

Multi-Lingual - English /Spanish/Portuguese/French
Experience with Workday Recruiter or Phenom CRM

The reference Total Target Compensation (TTC) market range for this position, inclusive of annual base salary and the variable compensation target, is between
Total Target Cash (TTC) 85,499.25 - 146,341.00 USD Annual
This reflects how companies in a similar industry and geographic region generally pay for similar jobs. This range helps the Company make pay decisions as one data point among many. Where a position falls within this range is also dependent on other factors including - but not limited to - the employee’s career path history, competencies, skills and performance, as well as the company’s annual salary budget, the customer’s program requirements, and the company’s internal equity. Thales may offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s status protected by local, state, or federal law.
