IT Junior Software Developer

General Soft Drinks Co Ltd is looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Junior Software Developer to join our IT ERP & Data team. 

The successful candidate will play an integral role in supporting business applications, developing software solutions, and integrating systems that improve operational efficiency across the organization. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, gain exposure to enterprise applications, and contribute to end-to-end development projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business units to gather requirements and develop effective software solutions.
• Maintain and administer existing systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Design, develop, and implement applications following best practices.
• Test software programs, identify defects, and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Support and guide users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Develop and manage system integrations between new and existing platforms.
• Deliver training sessions to business users to enhance system usage and efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and procedures.
• Manage assigned projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Assist with daily IT operations to maintain system stability and performance.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma in IT, Computer Studies, or an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, IIS, and PHP.
• Experience in both front-end (UI) and back-end development.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive, motivated, and a strong team player.
• Comfortable working in multi-site environments.
• Willingness to be on-call and travel to off-site locations.

Experience:

• Minimum of one year experience in a similar technical or software development role.
