Founding Forward Deployed Engineer

The Prompting Company is building the infrastructure layer for the AI internet.

Today, people discover products through search engines. Tomorrow, discovery happens through AI systems like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.

We help companies understand how they appear inside these AI systems and improve their visibility across AI-generated answers.

We're looking for a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer who can work directly with customers to implement our product, understand their business goals, and ensure they get real measurable outcomes.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and revenue.

You will work directly with founders, growth teams, and developers at companies using our platform. Your job is to understand their stack, integrate our technology into their workflows, and ensure we are measuring the metrics that matter.

This is not a traditional sales role. It requires technical depth, curiosity, and the ability to translate complex systems into practical solutions.

You will be one of the earliest members of the company and play a key role in shaping how our product is deployed and used.

Step 1 - Intro conversation (30 minutes)

We’ll talk about your background, what you’ve built, and how you think about solving problems with customers.

Step 2 - Paid work trial

You’ll work with us on a short real-world task. For example, integrating our product into a sample website, analyzing how a company appears in AI-generated answers, or setting up tracking for key metrics.

This helps us see how you think, communicate, and execute in practice.

If the trial goes well, we’ll move quickly to an offer.
