  • Supervision and Researcher Development: Lead the responsible conduct of research, mentor and develop students and colleagues, provide coaching and constructive feedback, and support professional growth and high performance.

  • Citizenship and Service: Collaborate with academic and professional colleagues to ensure successful delivery of the MD Program, contribute to governance and committee activities, promote rural medical careers, build strong stakeholder relationships, and demonstrate leadership through mentoring, collaboration and a commitment to staff wellbeing.

This is a teaching focused position. Further information can be found by viewing UQ’s Criteria for Academic Performance.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and delivering high-quality medical education programs, including curriculum implementation, assessment and student support.

  • Extensive experience in undergraduate, postgraduate and/or professional clinical teaching, with a commitment to educational excellence and innovation.

  • Proven ability to build collaborative relationships and influence diverse stakeholders across academic, clinical and community settings.

  • A genuine commitment to rural, regional and remote healthcare, with an understanding of the opportunities and challenges of medical education in these environments.

About Rural Clinical School
