This is an on-campus and fully in-person position, with flexibility as determined by supervisor and college leadership, during university closure and semester breaks.

Position works in-person. Will be required to work additional hours in early morning or evening, weekends, and occasionally holidays to complete time-sensitive projects or facilitate events and programs. Job Description
The Senior Student Program Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs and manages student organizations, college-wide student events, and the co-curriculum for the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program.
Responsibilities
Student Program Management
Assists the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs in the College of Pharmacy to serve as the main point of contact for the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) co-curriculum execution, student organizations, and college-wide student events.
Co-designs the Pharm.D. co-curriculum program. Coordinates logistics related to implementation of programs. Evaluates if program objectives are met and provides recommendations to Assistant Dean for continuous improvements annually.
Plans and executes the full life-cycle of student success programs, from idea generation to assessment; success program events include new student orientation, white coat ceremony, student annual student and faculty recognition events, and the P2 send-off.
Participate in and assists as needed with graduation.
Serves as co-advisor for the Pharmacy Council student governance organization.
Analyzes data to assess the effectiveness of student success activities and implement continuous improvements in strategy to meet college goals. Presents annual reports on co- curricular outcomes each academic year.
College Collaboration
Advances the College of Pharmacy’s goals to promote the retention and success of talent in the Pharm.D. program through pipeline and pathway initiatives.
Develops advising and promotional materials aligned with college branding and marketing best practices to increase attendance and participation in student success programming. Works with the Director of Communications and Marketing to engage students on social media or other platforms related to student success.
Meets with and develops rapport with students, faculty, staff, campus partners, vendors, corporate sponsors, and external stakeholders.
Designs and disseminates communication for admitted students.
Additional Duties
Seeks out information, literature, and trends in higher education and student affairs to apply national best practices in the College of Pharmacy Pharm.D. co-curriculum programs. Participates and presents our efforts and outcomes at student affairs and higher education professional society conferences.
Trains, supervises, mentors, and evaluates undergraduate student assistants.
Serves on other college and university committees and working groups as requested.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Three years of experience in student program administration or program coordination
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office, including Outlook calendaring, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Teams
Demonstrated expertise in large-scale event management and budget administration
Strong project management capabilities with a proven track record of managing concurrent timelines
Demonstrated excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in higher education, student affairs, social work, or similar degree
More than 3 years of experience in student program administration or program coordination
Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with internal and external constituents
Experience with university mainframe and working with university-approved vendors
Professional experience with student advising
Experience with health professions education (e.g., Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Dentistry) or graduate professional student affairs
Proficiency with advanced technological tools (e.g., Qualtrics, Canvas, Canvas, Power BI, web/social media tools)
Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
Salary Range
$58,000+ depending on qualifications
