This opportunity sits within our Logistics & Fulfilment (L&F) portfolio, supporting the technology and data initiatives that underpin how we move products efficiently through our supply chain and into our customers' homes.

You'll join a collaborative Delivery community, working alongside Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, Analysts and business stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes across a complex and evolving technology landscape.

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Data Delivery Manager to lead a cross-functional Data squad supporting our Logistics & Fulfilment portfolio. You’ll be accountable for turning business priorities into a clear and achievable delivery roadmap, enabling the squad to deliver trusted data products, platforms and insights that improve operational performance and customer outcomes.

As a senior leader within the Delivery function, you'll be accountable for ensuring programmes and products are delivered effectively, balancing pace, quality, risk and business value. • Facilitating effective planning, reporting and decision-making processes.
  • Driving a culture of accountability, collaboration and value-focused delivery.
  • Working closely with internal teams and external partners to achieve successful outcomes.

About you

You'll be an experienced Delivery leader who enjoys working at the intersection of technology, data and business change. You'll have a track record of successfully delivering large-scale, complex initiatives and be comfortable engaging with both technical specialists and senior stakeholders.

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Proven experience delivering complex data products, platforms or initiatives within Data, Analytics, Data Engineering or Platform environments.
  • Strong understanding of modern data technologies including data pipelines, ETL processes, cloud data platforms and data warehousing concepts.
  • Experience working with product backlogs, roadmaps, prioritisation and outcome-based planning.
  • The ability to build credibility with Engineers, Architects, Product Managers and senior business leaders.
  • Experience leading delivery across multiple cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills.
  • Experience applying agile, lean and traditional delivery approaches, selecting the right methodology for the challenge at hand.
  • Strong risk, dependency and programme management capabilities.
  • Experience coaching teams and promoting continuous improvement.
  • Experience working with external suppliers and delivery partners.

It would be great if you also have:

  • Experience working within Retail, eCommerce, Logistics or Supply Chain environments.
  • Exposure to AWS-based data platforms and modern cloud technologies.
  • Experience delivering data transformation or platform modernisation programmes.
