By making clever use of a whole range of artificial intelligence tools – such as natural language processing, ontologies and large language models – we take into account spelling variations, typos, synonyms, context and everything else needed to compile, in a transparent manner, a list of matching jobs and candidates that is as accurate and comprehensive as possible.
theMatchBox is part of the Pixid Group and is a fast-growing HR tech scale-up with clients including staffing agencies, job sites and major employers both at home and abroad. Your tasks will be very varied. You’ll work on the API and the architecture of our matching software. In consultation with our account managers, you’ll integrate our software with the client’s systems so that all necessary data becomes searchable in our matching engine. Together with the client, you’ll determine which aspects of a job or candidate are important to them when making a match and configure our software accordingly. Finally, you’ll be part of our support team or resolve build issues… Everything is done in close collaboration and consultation with the team, and you’re always welcome to pop in and see us.

Finally, you will work within our support system or fix build issues… Everything is done in close collaboration and consultation with the team, and you can always come to us with your ideas.
What do we expect from you? • You have a thorough knowledge of Java, • You have experience designing or maintaining a software architecture, • You enjoy navigating our complex software and algorithms, • You are interested in search engines and artificial intelligence, • When programming, you value accuracy, quality, and security, • You enjoy working independently (we will, of course, help you get started), • You can communicate clearly with clients and colleagues, • You can express yourself well in English.
What is not necessary but is nice to have? • Experience with Docker, Elasticsearch, • Experience deploying LLMs on GPUs, • Building software with Maven and Jenkins, • Managing servers with Ansible.
