Who We Are
Hi! We’re The Heist, the motion design, live action, and post production studio within Thinkingbox, the Brief-to-Built agency.
We bring together directors, designers, animators, editors, and technologists to create work that moves. From brand films to broadcast spots to social campaigns and experiential content, our team blends craft and curiosity to push ideas further. Across our studios, collaboration is real, feedback is open, and culture matters. We take the work seriously. Ourselves, a little less so.

Take projects from initial assembly through to final delivery, incorporating feedback along the way.
Apply light colour correction and grading to ensure footage looks polished, consistent, and on-brand.
Work with music, sound design, graphics, and pacing to elevate storytelling.
Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment.
Prepare, organize, and export content in various formats and aspect ratios for different platforms.
Maintain organized project files and follow established post-production workflows.

3-5 years of professional video editing experience, ideally within an agency, production company, or post-production studio.
Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
Experience with Adobe After Effects is an asset.
Working knowledge of colour correction and light grading, using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
A strong portfolio or reel showcasing a range of editing styles and storytelling abilities.
Experience editing social-first content, branded campaigns, and digital advertising.
A great eye for detail, pacing, composition, and visual storytelling.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with a larger creative team.
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
Ability to take creative feedback and turn around revisions efficiently.
Bonus Points!
Experience working on commercial productions or with well-known brands.
Basic motion graphics or animation skills.
Familiarity with sound mixing and audio cleanup.
