Assistant Manager - Tax Technology

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager - Tax Technology to lead technology-driven initiatives, manage complex projects, optimize tax software ecosystems, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that drive efficiency and innovation.
About the Role:
Lead and coordinate tax technology projects, ensuring successful delivery in line with business goals, approved roadmaps, timelines, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, implement system enhancements, manage change initiatives, and support process improvements.
Manage and support third-party tax software applications, including system updates, data maintenance, troubleshooting, and user support.
Oversee project planning, execution, testing, risk management, and stakeholder communication to ensure seamless implementation and adoption of technology solutions.
Partner with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to define requirements, validate solutions, and drive continuous improvements across applications and workflows.
Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the scalability and functionality of tax technology platforms.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Commerce, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in Tax Technology, Business Systems Analysis, Project Management, or a related domain.
Experience working with third-party tax software applications, system implementations, and technology-driven business solutions.
Working knowledge of SQL, SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), and advanced Microsoft Excel.
Strong understanding of software testing, quality assurance, and application support processes.
Experience with tax software integration and application development is preferred; familiarity with US tax processes is an advantage.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, along with a continuous improvement mindset focused on automation and operational efficiency.
