Tech stack of TJX

Responsibilities:

  • Code review, solutioning, and mentoring.
  • Ability to work up and down the organisation, able to influence others to achieve results.
  • Ability to work in globally distributed teams and develop multi-level relationships.


Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience as a senior software engineer or tech lead in the IBM Z platform.
  • Extensive hands-on experience in REXX, COBOL, JCL, IMS and DB2
  • Hands-on experience with mainframe optimisation techniques, performance tuning, modernisation and automation.
  • Well-versed in DevSecOps best practices and experienced with cloud technologies.
  • Experience in agile software development and continuous improvement concepts.
  • Know Python, SMF, DCOLLECT, and MIPS consumption on the mainframe system.
  • Strong team management and organisation skills; ability to lead, motivate and direct global workgroups.
  • Comfortable providing timely, constructive performance feedback to technical and non-technical associates.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication skills.


Nice to have skills:

  • DevOps on Z, Mainframe Modernisation and Transformation.
  • Experience in AI tools, e. g., Copilot Analysis, Github.
  • Exposure to a diverse portfolio of applications is a plus.
