Toddle is an AI-powered teaching and learning platform for K-12 schools. Built by educators, for educators, it is used by over 200,000 educators across 2,500+ schools in 100+ countries.

Teachers today work 50+ hours a week. Too much of that time is spent navigating fragmented systems and administrative overhead. Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to save teachers 10+ hours every week while helping elevate their practices, so that time can go back to what matters most - teaching, learning, and meaningful time with students.

Our approach is three-pronged.

First, Toddle brings the entire teaching and learning lifecycle into one place . Teachers plan and map curriculum, create assessments and gradebooks, maintain student portfolios, communicate with families, and generate progress reports and transcripts - all from a single, coherent system. Toddle also supports adjacent workflows where teachers are closely involved, including attendance, timetables, calendars, accreditation, behaviour management, analytics, and insights.

Second , every layer of the platform is deeply AI-powered. Educators work with a thoughtful AI partner to plan curriculum, create lessons and assessments, assist with grading, write progress report comments, and derive insights from data. Toddle also offers student-facing AI Tutors, enabling highly personalized and immersive learning experiences.

Third, Toddle integrates seamlessly with the broader school technology ecosystem. The platform supports 50+ integrations across SIS platforms, content providers, data & integration platforms, and workspaces such as Google, Apple, and Microsoft.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

We are looking for a passionate and motivated product engineer who partners with us to build intuitive, scalable, and delightful user experiences for teachers, students, and parents.

As a product Engineer, you will contribute to designing, developing, and deploying high-quality product. You will collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, designers, educators, and gain exposure to real-world usage in schools.

This role offers hands-on ownership, continuous technical growth and product understanding in a fast-growing SaaS environment.

What you’ll achieve in your first 3 months

• Understand the codebase, architecture, and core product workflows
• Build strong fundamentals in React , state management , CSS and Apollo
• Start contributing to feature development, production fixes & optimization

What you’ll achieve in your first 6 months

• Independently deliver major features by writing clean, modular, and optimized code
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate cross-functionally

What you’ll achieve in your first 12 months

• Own modules end-to-end , coordinating closely with Product and Support teams through scoping, design review, development, release, and post-release support
• Get the opportunity to work on performance and frontend infra projects
• Contribute to hiring, onboarding, technical knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of engineering processes

Must have Skills:

• Languages & Frameworks - JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML5 / CSS3, React, Redux/Apollo Client, Graphql
• Tools & Platforms - Git, Build tools (Webpack), Profiling tools (React Profiler, Memory profiling), GitHub Copilot or other AI-assisted development tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
• Ability to write clean, readable, and maintainable code

Good to have:

• Working knowledge of GraphQL & PostgreSQL
• Exposure to AWS ecosystem (Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, etc.)
• Product mindset with empathy for end users
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Past working experience in SaaS or product based companies

Is this someone that looks like you?

• Education: B.E/B.Tech degree
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of relevant working experience (SaaS preferred)
• Soft Skills: Having a bias towards action, a good sense of design, empathy, and good communication skills
