About the Role
As a Value Stream Manager, you'll play a key role in connecting our business and technology teams to deliver reliable, high-performing IT services that support Toll's warehouse and transport operations. Working closely with operational leaders, technology teams and service partners, you'll help drive service excellence, resolve complex challenges, identify opportunities for improvement and ensure technology delivers meaningful outcomes for the business. This is a highly visible role where you'll build strong stakeholder relationships, influence service priorities and contribute to the continuous improvement of critical technology services across the organisation.
A Day in the Life of a Value Stream Manager
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand operational priorities, challenges and opportunities for improvement.
- Act as a trusted escalation point for technology-related issues, coordinating teams to deliver timely and effective outcomes.
- Build strong relationships across warehouse and transport sites through regular engagement and site visits.
- Monitor service performance, identify trends and use insights to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
- Work collaboratively with technology teams and service partners to drive service improvements and operational excellence.
- Communicate technology changes, service updates and improvement initiatives in a clear and meaningful way.
- Support the successful adoption of new technologies, processes and ways of working across the business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related discipline is desirable.
- IT Service Management certification (such as ITIL) is advantageous.
- Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI) are beneficial but not essential.

We're looking for experience in some of the following areas:
- IT service delivery, service management, technology operations or related disciplines.
- Working within logistics, supply chain, warehousing, transport or other operationally focused environments.
- Building strong relationships and influencing outcomes across business and technology teams.
- Service performance management, issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- IT Service Management principles and frameworks, such as ITIL.
- Infrastructure, integration platforms and end-user technologies including Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
- Managing outcomes across multiple teams, vendors and stakeholders within complex environments.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
This role is primarily based onsite and involves regular travel to operational sites. Occasional domestic and international travel may also be required.
